The occupation forces have exploited various ethnic, religious and political groups in Iraq to protract their foothold in Iraq in total disregard to human cost to such plan so that presently the innocent Iraqis are suffering from the breakdown of law and order, which has never been stable since the removal of Saddam Hussein.
Insincerity of occupation forces is made glaringly palpable as ethnic and religious sensitivities are being exploited to decide upon political issues. Contrary to the teachings of Islam, different sects of Islam are beingexploited to create fissures in Iraqi society.
Conversely, there are more than thousand Christian denominations all across the globe and nowhere in the world, national politics is defined around their religious dogma and identity. Human as well as national rights have always come forth in politics and national political unity is always maintained and jealously protected to guard against division and disruption of social, cultural and ethnic fabric of society.
Unfortunately, however, this is not the case with present day Iraq. The West, purposefully under the diabolical influence of Judo-Christian extremist outfits, has been trying to disintegrate the oldest and the richest Islamic civilization of Iraq so that Islamic orientation and propensity is uprooted and vitality, vivacity, integrity and veracity of Muslim philosophy oflife is shaken and grounded.
The International Media under the influence of Judo-Christian Lobbies always refer to Iraqi community as Kurds of North, Sunnis of Tikreet and Baghdad, Oil rich Shias of the South, Shia majority, Sunni minority, persecuted Kurdish minority, Shia dominated government, Kurd President, Shia Prime Minister, and Sunni etc so on and so forth. Divide and ruleprinciple had never been applied so inhumanly and viciously earlier inhuman history.
In the past, aggressors’ morals had not stooped down so low and disregard to human life and culture, and its institution had not gone so rotten. The Britishers applied this divide and rule on India quite successfully but they did not attempt to divide the people of the same faith. In Africa, the Christian colonizers tried to convert people to their faith then tosow seeds of death and destruction among the followers of the sametribal, ancestral faith.
In Latin America, the colonizers were more concerned, as elsewhere, to exploit political propensities of people through bribe and other inducements rather than to prepare people to get to each other’s throats in the name of religion. In Iraq history betrays itself. The attitude of occupiers towards Iraq’s national or religious sensibilities is downright inhuman, uncalled-for, biased and criminal. It tantamounts to downgrading the most enlightened human movement i.e. Islam, to the most degraded level of non-identity.
Can the occupiers undo what Islam has achieved for 14 hundred years? The Sunnis and Shia Muslims of Iraq have been living and intermarrying with each other peacefully in Iraq since centuries. Islam has maintained no difference of cast colour or creed as regard man’s relation to God and his human rights. Everyone is equal. Everyone has the same political, social, ethnic, educational and religious rights. Non-Muslims in an Islamic society have more rights as protection of their religious, social, political and educational rights becomes the responsibility and obligation of an Islamic government.
Predominantly Iraq is an Islamic society and is structured on Islamic lines. Until recently, their system of governance was secular and un-Islamic, however, it does not mean the society had turned secular and abandoned Islamic ideology as a way of life. Instead, through a consistent behaviour, Iraqi civilized society has proved that it does not want any escape from Islam. In the last elections Islamist parties, unlike other parts of the Muslim world, have performed better and have succeeded in establishing an Islamic government which is being unjustly branded by Judo-Christian International Media as Shia majority government.
Despite all the rise in tension and catastrophic violence in the present day Iraq peace and an Islamist government will prevail over Iraq whether that fits into the US plans or not. That will bring forth the success of Ideology over the so-called ‘freethinking’, Godly way of life over personal morality, blessing and salvation over materialism and competition, peace and serenity over hassle and twisted worldly wisdom. That will signify the defeat of forces of division, disruption, anger and illusion, and success for the forces of peace, stability, progress and enlightenment; a beacon oflight for the whole region.
Had the occupier been sincere to Iraq, they would have stressed upon human rights and dignity, established institutions, recognized people’s civil rights and made advancement in that direction. They should not have focused on ethnic, social, cultural and religious disparities of Iraqi society. AT least they should not have exploited their faith for their own petty politicalgains by rolling in ‘divide and rule’ principal; and that too so inhumanly.
If human and civil rights are protected, which they were not under highly centralized, despotic, and corrupt regime of Saddam Hussein, then no one should bother who the people bring to power through popular vote. It is so all over the world and should not be made an exception in Iraq.
